Vector Scientific, Inc. (VSI) Team to Present MCLE Webinar to ADCNC

On Wednesday, April 6, a team of experts from Vector Scientific, Inc. (VSI) will provide an accredited MCLE webinar to the members of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada entitled “Accident Reconstruction and Injury Biomechanics in Low-Speed Motor Vehicle Collisions.”

VSI Senior Engineer Zachariah Weimer, a licensed Professional Engineer and ACTAR certified Accident Reconstructionist will discuss low-speed collision impact configurations, impact type (direction) and severity (magnitude) and the application of Event Data Recorders (EDR) downloads in reconstructing low-speed collisions.

President Jeff Wheeler will lead a panel of subject-specific injury biomechanics experts including:

• Steven Storvik: spine injury biomechanics including VSI’s research and testing with live human volunteers in low-speed rear-end collisions.
• J. Michio Clark, PhD: brain injury biomechanics and the application of his head impact research in sports to low-speed collisions.
• Wade Baker: upper and lower extremity injury biomechanics.
